Baptism

Wanna make your faith public?! Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family. Our next baptism will be Sunday, November 5 in the 9:30 Gym service! Register below before October 22nd if you’d like to take the next step!

Disaster Relief Donations

WEAG Missions has partnered for many years with Convoy of Hope, Christ In Action and Samaritan’s Purse during times of natural disaster in our own country.  The recent hurricane and flooding impacting so many in Texas will take vast resources and great amounts of time to overcome. At this time, it’s best to send emergency funds through reputable organizations already in place and working.  If you would like to contribute to either Harvey or Irma, you may make a check payable to WEAG and place “Disaster Relief” in the memo line. Add a contribution to your online giving under Disaster Relief. We will continue to send funds as they become available. You can also contact cj@weag.org if you have questions about this project. And of course, don’t forget to cover hurricane victims, and those assisting in reconstruction in your prayers.
